Not all pets can be as well behaved as these two. We at the friends of Newark K9 Officers, having the sense of humor that we do, would love to share in your misery. Please share your photos and/or stories of holiday disasters involving your pets. By pets we mean, dogs, cats, ferrets, guinea pigs, fish, horses, goats, pigs, etc. Posts received by 5pm on January 7, 2018 will be judged, with the winner receiving a $25.00 gift card to the Greene Turtle of Newark, and a Friends of Newark K9 Officers T shirt (limited sizes). We would like to thank the Greene Turtle of Newark for donating this prize. Happy Holidays!

The results of the costume contest are in, and there was a tie. Congratulations to Sammie and Nuggy on each acquiring nine likes. We would like to thank everyone who either posted a photo of their costumed K9 or who voted on the contestants.

K9 Kody likes to dress up as a horse for halloween, but we think his handler is too big to ride him. Please post a photo of your K9 in costume, to the comments, then share our page with your friends, family and coworkers. The photo with the most likes at midnight on November 3rd will win a Friends of Newark K9 Officers t-shirt. Available sizes are medium, large or extra large.
