Newark Evening High School NEHS provides an opportunity for students 18 and older to obtain a diploma. This page is to communicate information about senior class activiies.

Newark Evening Adult High School offers classes for students who have not finished high school, individuals who never attended high school, students who need a few extra courses to graduate and those students who want to improve their skills in a particular course. An important objective of the adult high school program is to recognize and access the skills of those adults who have not completed h

igh school, but who have continued to gain knowledge and skills through employment and other sources. We have an open enrollment policy whereby students may enroll at the beginning of each semester during designated registration periods. The program is completely free of charge to adults wishing to enroll as undergraduate students.

IMPORTANT REMINDERS

Graduation Practice
Monday, June 11th 7pm in the Auditorium
Please be on time!

Cap & Gown
The last day to be measured is Monday, June 11th. The order will be placed on June 12th. If you need to be measured, arrive early at 6:00 pm and report to the Nurse’s office. No measurements will be done after graduation practice.

Yearbook & Senior Class Pictures
Ms. Mosselle (Room 120 B) is here on Monday and Wednesday and her class is taking the pictures. If you want to have your picture taken, please see her immediately to ask about it.

Class Dues
The $60 class dues should be turned in to Mr. Bond (in the bookroom) as soon as possible. If you have an issue and want still to participate in graduation activities, please see him immediately to ask about it.

Senior Class Meetings being held Monday, May 7th and Tuesday, May 8th at 7:00 pm in the auditorium. Report to class first and wait for the announcement. You only need to attend one meeting.
