Petty Officer First Class Sanchez is a native of Jersey City, NJ. He graduated from James J. Ferris high school and then enlisted in the United States Navy in October 2014. Petty Officer Sanchez graduated boot camp and attended EO “A” School and Expeditionary Combat skills school. He then reported to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion Eleven and served there for 5 years. During his tour he was assigned the duty as yard boss of alfa company. He later became leading petty officer of the embark department and was also able to become the first second class to be lead navigator of the convoy security element for the battalion. He is the Recruiter in charge for Navy Recruiting Station Newark.
