Happy Valentine's Day! ❤️ In honor of the day of love as well as American Heart Month, the month's clinical post will feature one of the hardest working organs in our body!

According to the American Heart Association, there are more than 350000 cases of out-of-hospital cardiac arrests each year in the US, 90% of which are fatal. Ventricular defibrillation, a type of irregular heart rhythm, accounts for about 1/3 of those cases.
