Recently, we had the honor of hosting Rev. Charles Boyer, Senior Pastor of Greater Mr. Zion A.M.E. Church in Trenton, NJ, Rev. Amir Khan of Camden, NJ, and Rev. Ronald Slaughter of Saint James A.M.E. Church of Newark, NJ, for a presentation as part of our Dr. MLK commemoration event. Their words reinforce that America has made great strides in the last 59 years since Dr. King marched in Selma but the work is unfulfilled. There are far too many instances of hate, discrimination and unlawful treatment under the law. In the spirit of Dr King, our work to promote civil rights will continue.
