NYPL Fort Washington Library The Fort Washington Branch of the New York Public Library is located in the heart of one of the most beautiful areas of New York City, Washington Heights.

The Fort Washington Branch centennial celebration is scheduled for April 14, 2014. We have ESOL classes, computer classes for Spanish speakers, and a beautiful AIA (American Architects Association) award-winning children's room. Vision Statement:

This past Saturday, our patrons enjoyed a relaxing and creative morning during our Canvas Café! 🎨☕

They spent the morning painting, sipping, and socializing while leaving the outside world behind for a little while. Patrons created their own artwork while enjoying coffee, tea, and hot chocolate.
