In the Line of Duty" would like to express our gratitude and respect to police officers, firefighters and other first responders for they embody the epitome of courage and integrity. Our fund raising organization is about honoring the work they do and recognizing the sacrifices they and their families make to keep our fellow citizens safe. We especially want to thank those who make the ultimate sa
crifice by leaving behind grieving loved ones or becoming injured In The Line Of Duty and being left without the means to continue working and providing for their family members. One of our objectives is to establish a hardship fund for those who have been injured and or disabled In The Line Of Duty. In addition, we will offer college scholarships for the children of fallen heroes and dedicate memorials in the name of those that gave their lives In The Line of Duty. There is more to our organization, though, than fundraising. We will be interacting with the public to spread information about the positive influence our real life heroes have on our community. We can accomplish this through working with community leaders, schools and the local media. One key step to this objective is to work with all government officials, business leaders and civic associations. I look forward to working with all of you through the summer to prepare for our September 12th, 2015 "No More Tears…In the Line of Duty" Tribute at Wantagh Park, Wantagh NY., thanking our first line heroes. We encourage you to reach out to your family, friends, neighbors and colleagues to ask for their support and donations in this worthy endeavor and for all forthcoming tributes. Help us in the building of a national organization by becoming a corporate, individual or family sponsorship. No donation is too small when given from the heart. Please remember to give a heartfelt "Thank You" to our Police Departments, Fire Departments and all first responders not only on this day but all days going forward. If there are any questions or suggestions regarding our plans and ways we can broaden our reach, I am happy and available to meet and discuss the organization of "No More Tears…In the Line of Duty" with each and every one of our supporters.
