Last night, Special Narcotics Prosecutor Bridget Brennan and Community Outreach Director Calvin Solomon attended a PAL Playstreet event in Harlem between Lenox and Marcus Garvey Park West Avenues. This is the fifth consecutive year that SNP is sponsoring a PAL Playstreet at that location. PAL Playstreet offers safe outdoor recreational opportunities for young children in their neighborhood.

Bridget Brennan joined PAL, the NYPD 28th Precinct, the 124th Street 5th to Lenox Avenues Block Association, Harlem Village Academy Charter School and Harlem community members for the ribbon cutting.

Ten Pounds of Fentanyl Seized from Bronx Apartment: Two Daycare Centers in Building Evacuated

➡️A short-term investigation into a fentanyl packaging and distribution operation led authorities to recover
approximately 4.5 kilograms of suspected fentanyl (nearly 10 pounds) from a third-floor apartment at
2075 Morris Avenue, a five-story residential apartment building in the Fordham neighborhood of the
Bronx.

➡️ As agents and officers entered the location, the defendant allegedly tossed some of the narcotics powder towards a nearby window inside of the apartment. The powder became airborne,
prompting law enforcement officers to clear and secure the apartment and other areas in the building.

➡️ Emergency responders evacuated 14 children from two daycare centers on the first floor as a
precaution. No injuries were reported.

Last week, ADA Andres Torres traveled to Argentina to speak at an international conference on organized crime in Neuquén, Patagonia. This conference brought together judges, prosecutors, and law enforcement officials from Argentina, Albania, Bolivia, and Italy, who are leaders in combating transnational crime in their respective countries.

Andres also discussed strategies to combat narcotics trafficking with prosecutors in Buenos Aires. Organized crime is a global threat, and it is important to foster collaboration through sharing experiences and learning from distinguished colleagues.

Drug Delivery Service Dismantled in Luxury Apartment Building in the Bronx: Co***ne Distributed in Manhattan, Queens, and Brooklyn

➡️ Four defendants were arrested following a long-term investigation into a drug delivery service that operated out of a luxury apartment building in the Bronx, and distributed co***ne in Manhattan, Queens, and Brooklyn.

➡️Approximately 10 kilograms of co***ne (over 22 pounds) carrying a street value of up to $250,000 were recovered during a series of court authorized searches of an apartment and three vehicles on Sunday, May 17, 2026.

Major Drug Stash Location Uncovered near Yankee Stadium in the Bronx: Two Arrests


➡️ Two men were arrested on narcotics possession charges following an investigation that dismantled a major drug stash location near Yankee Stadium in the Bronx.

➡️ A court authorized search of a residence yielded a combined total of approximately 2.5 kilograms (over five pounds) of co***ne, ketamine, and M**A, as well as approximately 30 pounds of psilocybin mushrooms, over 100 pounds of ma*****na, and $85,000 cash.

🚨Today is the 5th annual National Fentanyl Awareness Day.

➡️ Fentanyl is up to 50x stronger than he**in and 100x stronger than morphine and it remains the leading driver of overdose deaths. In 2024, 73% of overdose deaths in New York City were caused by fentanyl.

➡️ Often, it is unknowingly mixed and pressed into counterfeit pills that look like they are legitimate prescription pills.

Today, Bridget Brennan and Christopher Roberts, DEA NY Division Task Force Special Agent in Charge, held a press conference with Bronx District Attorney Darcel Clark, NYPD Chief of Detectives Joseph Kenny, and NYSP Major Trenee Young announcing the dismantling of three large fentanyl packaging mills in the Bronx and Manhattan. Over 90 pounds of fentanyl, $30,000 cash and two guns were seized. The fentanyl was likely intended for distribution in New York City.

Also attending the press conference was NYPD K9 “Mulk”, who after alerting the presence of narcotics at one mill apartment, began exhibiting signs of fentanyl poisoning. Mulk was later revived with Narcan, an opioid reversal drug.

🚨Six Arrested at Fentanyl/Heroin Packaging Mill in the Bronx: Narcotics Found Throughout Apartment, Including in Baby Bouncer Seat

➡️Six men were arrested during a court-authorized search of a fentanyl and he**in packaging mill located inside an apartment in the Highbridge neighborhood of the Bronx.

➡️Approximately three kilograms of fentanyl (over six pounds), carrying an estimated street value of over $500,000, was seized during a court-authorized search. The organization also appeared to be bottling counterfeit xylazine, a veterinary tranquilizer often found in combination with fentanyl. Narcotics were found spread throughout the mill apartment, including a bag of fentanyl packets inside a baby bouncer seat.
