Our commitment is to help New York’s elected officials, government leaders, and communities better understand the interconnectedness of our systems, clarify the trade-offs embedded in public policy, and provide a framework of questions—not predetermined answers—to inform better decision-making.

We will remain focused on the issues that matter most to New Yorkers:

1. Illustrating the trade-offs embedded in major policy decisions.

2. Mitigating the cycle of disappointment and distrust that too often emerges when campaign soundbites meet governing realities. Regardless of ideology, New Yorkers benefit when our elected officials succeed and deliver meaningful results.
