KALE YEAH!! Lucero Elementary School and PS 294, The Walton Avenue School celebrated Kale Day this week with FoodCorps NY and Edible Schoolyard NYC, with a kale smoothie cafeteria tasting. It was a hit, with many students asking for seconds and the recipe.

It was a full house at PS 294, The Walton Avenue School's fall Showcase visit! Visitors had the opportunity to learn about student-led math discussion practices that promote and build student metacognition within the Algebra for All framework and were given space to consider how to implement what they observed back in their own contexts.
