🇺🇸⚓ THIS ISN’T JUST A WARSHIP. IT’S A FLOATING AIRBASE.

Thousands of Sailors.
Dozens of aircraft.
One massive carrier.

From the middle of the ocean, a U.S. Navy aircraft carrier can serve as a mobile base for naval aviation—bringing American sea power far beyond the coastline.

But here’s the real question:

👇 Are aircraft carriers still the future of naval power—or is that era changing?

Watch until the end. ⚓🇺🇸

🇺🇸⚓ THE U.S. NAVY, AUSTRALIA & THE PHILIPPINES — WORKING TOGETHER AT SEA

Three nations. One maritime partnership.

From August 19–25, 2026, forces from the United States, Australia and the Philippines conducted a Multilateral Maritime Cooperative Activity in the Philippine Exclusive Economic Zone.

The exercise highlights something bigger than ships at sea:

🌏 Regional cooperation
🤝 Partnership between allies
⚓ Maritime coordination
🇺🇸 U.S. commitment to its partners

For the United States Navy, working alongside allies and partners is an important part of maintaining a strong presence across the Indo-Pacific.

And as maritime challenges continue to evolve, cooperation between nations becomes increasingly important.

Three flags. One partnership. A shared maritime future.

👇 Do you think stronger cooperation between U.S. allies makes the Indo-Pacific more secure?

🇺🇸⚓ THE ANCHOR OF THE U.S. NAVY: THE CHIEF PETTY OFFICER

What makes a Navy Chief different?

It's more than a rank.

For generations, Chief Petty Officers have played a crucial role in developing Sailors, maintaining standards and passing hard-earned experience from one generation to the next.

Today, August 25, 2026, the U.S. Navy begins Chief Petty Officer Heritage Days 2026 at Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek in Virginia.

The three-day event, running August 25–27, celebrates the history, traditions and legacy of the Navy's Chief Petty Officer community.

⚓ Leadership.
⚓ Experience.
⚓ Tradition.
⚓ Responsibility.

The Navy's technology may change.

Ships may change.

Aircraft may change.

But one thing remains essential:

People who know the job—and are willing to teach the next generation.

🇺🇸 That is the legacy of the Chief.

👇 What do you think is the most important quality of a great military leader: experience, discipline, leadership or mentorship?

🇺🇸✈️ SAFETY FIRST: U.S. NAVY AVIATION RECOGNIZED

Behind every Navy aircraft is a massive team working to keep aviation operations safe, reliable and ready.

Today, Fleet Readiness Center East (FRCE) was recognized with the Chief of Naval Operations Aviation Safety Award for fiscal year 2025.

The award recognizes the center’s commitment to flight-line safety and efficiency—a reminder that military aviation isn't only about aircraft and pilots.

It also depends on the people who inspect, maintain, repair and prepare aircraft for service.

⚓ Every successful flight begins long before the aircraft leaves the deck.

That means safety, training, maintenance and teamwork matter just as much as technology.

What do you think is the most important part of naval aviation: technology, training, maintenance, or teamwork?

👇 Tell us your choice.

🇺🇸⚓ THE U.S. NAVY IS IN VERMONT — AND THIS IS WHY IT MATTERS

For the first time ever, the U.S. Navy is bringing Navy Week to Burlington, Vermont.

From August 24–30, 2026, Sailors will take part in community events, educational programs, performances and service activities across the Lake Champlain region.

This isn't a deployment.

It's something different — America's Navy meeting the American people.

Navy Week programs are designed to give communities a closer look at the people behind the uniform, the traditions of naval service, and the role the Navy plays in protecting U.S. interests around the world.

And Burlington is making history as the first-ever Navy Week in Vermont. 🇺🇸

⚓ One week. One community. A closer connection with America's Navy.

What do you think?

Should the U.S. Navy hold more events like this across America?

👇 Tell us in the comments.

🇺🇸⚓ 200,000 LANDINGS. 34 YEARS OF SERVICE. ONE LEGENDARY CARRIER.

The USS George Washington (CVN 73) has just reached a remarkable milestone.

On August 18, 2026, while operating in the Indian Ocean, the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier recorded its 200,000th fixed-wing aircraft recovery while underway.

Think about that number.

✈️ 200,000 aircraft recoveries
⚓ 34 years of continuous service
🌊 Operations spanning multiple regions of the world
🇺🇸 Decades of American naval history

Since entering service, USS George Washington has been part of the U.S. Navy's long-standing mission of maintaining a forward presence and projecting American sea power.

For a warship, milestones like this aren't just numbers.

They represent decades of sailors, aviators, engineers, maintainers and support personnel working together to keep a carrier at sea.

And the story of CVN 73 is still being written.

200,000 recoveries — and counting.

👇 What do you think is the most impressive achievement of the USS George Washington?

No red whistles. No sunny beaches. Just rotor wash and open ocean. 🌊

Sailors assigned to Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 21 and USS Boxer (LHD 4) conduct search and rescue qualifications in the South China Sea.

The Boxer Amphibious Ready Group is underway with the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations, helping to preserve a free and open Pacific.

Me: 'Honestly, I sleep better with the sound of engines and waves than I do in a quiet room now!' 😴⚓️
