"Civilian: 'How do you sleep with all that noise on a ship?'
Me: 'Honestly, I sleep better with the sound of engines and waves than I do in a quiet room now!' 😴⚓️

December 7, 1941: A date which will live in infamy.

84 years ago, the attack on Pearl Harbor thrust the United States into World War II, forever changing our Navy and nation.

Today we remember the heroism and sacrifice of those lost on that fateful day. Their courage echoes across generations.

⚓️ The Unbreakable Spirit: Honoring Naval Heroes ⚓️
Beyond the uniform, beyond the battles, lies the indomitable spirit of our Naval heroes. Today, we want to share the incredible story of a true legend: Navy SEAL Mike Day. 🇺🇸
Mike Day's journey embodies unparalleled courage and resilience. In 2007, during a mission in Afghanistan, his team's helicopter crashed under enemy fire. Despite sustaining severe injuries—multiple broken bones, a shattered leg, and a collapsed lung—Mike not only crawled from the wreckage but rallied his fellow soldiers, ensuring their survival and providing first aid.[1] His sheer determination led him to return to active duty after a long and arduous recovery, a testament to the unwavering spirit of those who serve.
His memoir, "Fearless," offers an intimate glimpse into the heart of a warrior who embodies selflessness, courage, and unwavering dedication in the face of extreme adversity.[1] Mike Day's story reminds us that true strength lies not just in physical prowess, but in the mental fortitude to overcome the unimaginable.

⚓️ ATTENTION NAVAL VETERANS & MILITARY FAMILIES! ⚓️
Did you know millions of veterans are now eligible for VA healthcare YEARS earlier than planned under the PACT Act? This is HUGE news for those exposed to toxins during service, whether in combat zones like Vietnam, the Gulf War, Iraq, Afghanistan, or even domestically![1]
The VA has expanded eligibility, making it quicker and easier to enroll directly – no need to apply for disability compensation first.[1] This means access to vital care, including mental health support, which is a significant concern for many in our community.[2, 3] Remember, free VA mental health services are available regardless of discharge status.[4]
Don't miss out on the benefits you've earned.
➡️ Learn more and apply today at VA.gov/PACT or call 1-800-MYVA411 (1-800-698-2411).[1]
Let's spread the word and ensure every veteran and military family gets the care they deserve. Share this post to help reach those who need it most!

The PACT Act is a law that expands VA health care and benefits for Veterans exposed to burn pits, Agent Orange, and other toxic substances. This law helps us provide generations of Veterans—and their survivors—with the care and benefits they’ve earned and deserve. And starting March 5, 2024, w...
