Makerspace NYC We provide local artists, engineers, hobbyists, creators, thinkers and makers with equipment and resources to develop & nurture their creative passion.

Founded in 2013, we are a non-profit, STEAM education and community innovation center offering low-cost access to individuals and groups to the tools, equipment, and resources in our 6000 sq ft facility that includes:

industrial fabrication (full metal and wood shops) * digital fabrication (CNC, laser cutters, 3D printers) * sewing/textile room * conference room * classroom * computer room * proj

ect space * individual work spaces * networking events * residency program for creative entrepreneurs * skill building workshops for adults and children * STEAM education programs * and our new STEAM Wagon, a mobile education and innovation lab that can come to you!

On Saturday, September 12th, please join us and MakerPark Radio - makerparkradio.nyc for our free book swap! 10am -1pm.

We'll be in Maker Park at 450 Front Street (at Thompson), Staten Island with light refreshments, good reading music, and cozy spots to read your new used books in the park. Please no textbooks, no library books, and no books in poor condition. And absolutely NO resellers.

Come hang, it'll be fun!

As you're savoring the last of the summer slow-down, consider a fun, exciting, and supportive foray into some new skills for the cooler months.

We have welding, forging, sewing upcycling, plasma cutting, beginning machining, wheel throwing pottery and more, with some brand new classes on the way! We hear there is Raku, Fusion 360, woodworking, and leathercraft coming for you this fall and winter ... keep checking our class roster as it's updated frequently.
