ReServe, a division of Fedcap, is an innovative nonprofit that matches civic-minded retired professionals, “ReServists”, with organizations that need their expertise. With ten thousand people turning 65 every day in this country –the pool of amazing talent is endless!! ReServe® matches this talent with the expressed needs of government and social services agencies to help fill critical gaps such a

s support for Strategic Planning, foundation outreach, administrative support, event planning, IT administration, and so much more. ReServists, age 55+, hit the ground running and bring to organizations a tremendous work ethic, a “no-drama” attitude, and an amazing wealth of problem solving experience. In addition to general capacity building, ReServe® will work with your agency to develop proposals to government and foundations building in ReServists as a practical and cost effective part of the solution. ReServists bring tremendous skills in the areas of health care through our Health Care Navigator and Dementia Care Coaching products, education through our truancy fighting and college readiness programs and poverty fighting through our efforts to assist people obtain critical supports such as nutrition assistance and help applying for health care. ReServe® has over a decade of experience in leveraging this workforce for the good of communities. We have a story to tell and data to demonstrate success. Yesterday, our Executive Deputy Commissioner Ryan Murray testified before the NYS Assembly Committee on Aging to advocate for more resources for Expanded In-Home Services for the Elderly Program, which funds critically important supports for homebound older adults.

A dedicated volunteer at Homecrest Community Services, Ms. Chan has spent over a decade teaching Cantonese Opera in Bensonhurst and Sheepshead Bay, sharing her passion and making this beautiful art form accessible to everyone.
