Brooklyn Bridge Notice:

The NYC DOT Division of Bridges will FULLY close both Manhattan-bound lanes on the Brooklyn Bridge on July 21st, 22nd, 29th and 30th from 12AM-8AM, and July 23rd and 31st from 12AM-5AM. This closure is required to perform electrical work for the lighting at the towers. Motorists are advised to use the Manhattan Bridge to get to Manhattan. The bike lane will remain open during the Manhattan-bound nighttime closures however flaggers will be present on the bike lane to guide the bicyclists, as needed.

The NYC DOT will continue to narrow the promenade at the Brooklyn Approach from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on weekdays until April 28th for ongoing project work. Flaggers will be present at either end of the work zone. Pedestrians are advised to use caution.

Brooklyn Bridge Notice:

On Friday, April 21st, the NYC DOT will fully close the Brooklyn Bridge bikeway intermittently for up to fifteen minutes at a time, as required, for testing snow removal equipment on the bikeway. The bikeway will be opened at the end of fifteen minutes and the next fifteen-minute closure will take place only after the previous back-up has been cleared. The intermittent fifteen-minute full closures will take place between 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Flaggers will be present on either side of the work zone to guide cyclists, as required. Cyclists who prefer not to wait for the work stoppage may use the Manhattan Bridge bikeway which is available at all times. Bicyclists are advised to use caution.

Brooklyn Bridge Notice:

The NYC DOT will close the Pearl Street ramps to Brooklyn Bridge and to northbound FDR on weeknights from April 17th to 28th from 11:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. the next morning. The ramp closures are required to clean the limestone walls of the approach arches adjacent to the ramp. Please use the Northbound Park Row Ramp for access to Brooklyn Bridge or detour to access the northbound FDR.

Brooklyn Bridge Notice:

The NYC DOT will close the Pearl Street Ramp to the Brooklyn Bridge from 11:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 5th and Friday, January 6th. The ramp closure is necessary for continued masonry repair on the walls of the approach arches.

Motorists are advised to use the Northbound Park Row Ramp for access to Brooklyn Bridge.
