Standing Together with Our Himalayan Community
The flooding, landslides, and destruction in the Himalayan region along the Tibet–Nepal border are heartbreaking, especially knowing that many of you are here in New York while your loved ones are back home.
We are sending our love, prayers, and heartfelt support to all the communities affected. We hope your families and loved ones are safe and that you are able to stay connected with them during this difficult time.
Our community is a family, and when something happens back home, we feel it together. Let us stand beside one another with compassion, strength, and support.

The largest contingent appears to have been pilgrims traveling between Nepal and a sacred site in the Chinese region of Tibet.
