The Consulate General of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago in New York has been extremely busy over the past several months engaging with our vibrant diaspora, community partners, students, professionals, artists, athletes and stakeholders across a wide range of initiatives and events.

From educational and cultural outreach, diaspora engagement and community partnerships, to trade, sport, youth development and public diplomacy initiatives, it has truly been a dynamic and rewarding period for the Consulate General team.

Some recent engagements have included:
🇹🇹 Participation in diaspora and community events across New York, Washington D.C. and Philadelphia
🇹🇹 Support for Penn Relays 2026 and engagement with Trinidad and Tobago student-athletes and schools
🇹🇹 Collaboration with cultural and creative stakeholders, including the recent Indo-Caribbean photography exhibition hosted in partnership with photographer Diana Mathura-Kahrim in commemoration of Indian Arrival Day (Exhibit on display until 05/30/2026)
🇹🇹 Courtesy visits and literary engagement with members of the Trinidad and Tobago diaspora, including author Nigel Heath and the recent launch of “Jumbo: A One-Man Show” hosted by the Trinidad and Tobago Ex-Police Association International (New York Chapter) Inc. (TEXPO)
🇹🇹 Educational and migration-focused engagement with St. John's University Center for Latin American and Caribbean Studies, and the Borough of Manhattan Community College,
🇹🇹 Ongoing outreach with members of the diplomatic and consular corps, public service professionals and diaspora organizations

As always, the Consulate General remains committed to serving as a bridge between Trinidad and Tobago and our diaspora community through meaningful engagement, collaboration and service.

Effective March 17, 2026, the Online Arrival/Departure Card Platform will officially go live, replacing the traditional paper forms previously completed by travellers.

All persons entering or leaving Trinidad and Tobago 🇹🇹 will now be required to complete their Arrival or Departure Card online prior to travel.
The platform is free, secure, and convenient, and the form can be completed up to 72 hours before travel.

Once submitted, travellers will receive a receipt with 2 QR codes, which should be downloaded or saved and presented to Immigration and Customs Officers upon arrival or departure.

Access the platform at travel.gov.tt and enjoy a simpler, faster, and more convenient travel experience.
