Hell’s Kitchen Democrats invites you to visit our booth this Saturday, May 16 and Sunday, May 17, at the Ninth Avenue Food Festival. We will be there from 10 am to 6 pm on the east side of 9th Avenue between 48-49 Streets near VERS selling HKdems branded Hats 🧢 t-shirts 👚 and bags 🛍️Stop by and say hello, and find out about what HK Dems does and how you can get involved. Hell’s Kitchen Democrats congratulates Carl Wilson, our endorsed candidate, on his victory in the special election for NYC Council District 3.

Carl is a member of HK Dems and on our Executive Committee. As one of our own, we are very proud of Carl.

We also appreciate and recognize the effort by another member of ours - Leslie Boghosian Murphy. Leslie is also on our Executive Committee and her caring and commitment to our community showed throughout her campaign.

It takes courage and commitment to run for office, and we acknowledge the work by the other candidates in the race - Lindsey Boylan and Layla Law-Gisiko. We hope that we can move forward together united as a community to face the challenges ahead.

A very personal and heartfelt thank you to all HK Dems members who are involved. You really do make a difference.

We will continue to keep our community informed and to encourage political participation to improve life in our city. The collective efforts that we have done throughout this special election highlights the wonderful ways that HK Dems have been successful in achieving civic engagement.

HK Dems will be there to support Carl Wilson as our Council Member. We look forward to working with Carl to help ensure that our community continues to be a great place to live and work in.

HK Dems members joined this afternoon with elected officials Simone and many other electeds and activists at the Stonewall National Monument to re-raise the Pride flag and protest the erasure of LGBTQ+ Americans. We rally in support of protecting our community from ongoing extremist attacks. Manhattan is the home of Pride and we will not be silenced.
