Daily Death Fun Fact: A German man, identified only as Tobias, died of head trauma while performing a stunt being filmed for the internet. The stunt involved securing Tobias to a child’s merry-go-round with duct tape, wrapping a rope around the merry-go-round, tying the end of the rope to a BMW, and then driving the car away quickly, causing the merry-go-round to spin at high speed. The tape failed under the centrifugal force, launching Tobias to his death

Daily Death Fun Fact: In 2001, Herbert Lee Grossman, a truck driver from Texas, survived for three hours after being knocked down and cut in half by a reversing truck in West Pensacola, Florida. His torso was taken to hospital by helicopter and his bottom half by ambulance. He was pronounced dead in hospital.

Daily Death Fun Fact: In 2001, Floyd Hightshoe was at a cemetery in Bemidji, Minnesota, digging a grave for his mother, Stella Hightshoe, who had died the week before. When he suddenly collapsed and died as he was chatting with family and friends who dropped by to keep him company as he worked.

Daily Death Fun Fact: Terry Vance Garner, a farmer from Oregon, went out to feed his pigs but was instead devoured by his animals. Nothing but his dentures and a few body pieces were recovered. Investigators believe the hogs may have knocked Garner over before killing and eating him.
