Indonesia continues to accelerate its clean energy transition through strategic investment in renewable infrastructure.​

The Tanah Laut Wind Power Plant in South Kalimantan will become the largest wind power project in Kalimantan and the first wind power plant within the PLN Group. With a total capacity of 70 MW and an integrated Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), the project demonstrates Indonesia’s commitment to expanding renewable energy while strengthening long-term energy security.​

Developed by PLN Nusantara Renewables, TotalEnergies, and Adaro Power, the project is expected to begin commercial operation in 2026 and provide electricity to more than 38,000 households.
