Pfc. John P. Czachor VFW Post #5806 & Auxiliary NO ONE DOES MORE FOR VETERANS Eventually the following support units were formed:

HISTORY

The original charter members began organizing in 1948, and on October 23, 1949 a Post Charter was granted, then incorporated on May 19, 1955. Boys Unit December 3, 1963
Life Member's Perpetual Charter December 1964

The first meetings and socials were held in Alliance Hall at 189 Grand Street. Meetings were then moved to75 Berry Street. In the spring of 1959, the

building at 112 Grand street became Post Headquarters. Unfortunately condemnation of the whole square block for the building of P.S.84 took place, so the Post was forced to seek still another location. In December 1967, our present location at 181 Grand Street was purchased.

The Post is available for party rentals on Saturdays (not during social night hours) and Sundays. MUST HAVE A MEMBER'S R...
