Haiti 155

Haiti 155 Haiti 155, Inc. is a sector 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in NYC and dedicated to grassroots community development in Haiti.

According to Amnesty International, 77% of Haitians live on less than $2 each day. We believe an improved standard of living in Haiti begins with free enterprise and solid infrastructure; Haiti 155 promotes both, utilizing a grassroots approach to foster self-sufficient communities. Founded by brothers Lionel and Constant Bernard, Haiti 155 is a sector 501(c)(3) organization based in Brooklyn, NY.

We aim to build a permanent bridge of friendship between Americans and Haitians through which long-lasting social and economic change will arise. Our mission to institute favorable social change is manifested in our various community development projects, like establishing reliable electricity for the Port-au-Prince community of Fontamara. Ultimately, such improvements will enable Haitian communities to realize their collective potentials, allowing for self-sustaining autonomy. In accordance with our confidence in the free market, Haiti 155 also sells authentic Haitian goods at Brooklyn Flea in Williamsburg and also through Art for Ayiti (currently under construction) to provide an expanded market for Haitian artisans. For more information, news, and opportunities to help, please visit our homepage at www.haiti155.org. Thank you for your interest in our mission! Benediksion la pe (Blessings and Peace),

It’s either you stand for love, Community & Freedom or die.
No matter what we will always rally around the flag ( Blé et Rouj ) for freedom.
I’m feeling a bit nostalgic right now. I miss Haiti especially the country sides.
So I created this pieces dedicated to all freedom fighters. Starting with my mama & yours. Snackonart.com
