Tonight, we held our monthly community council meeting. Thank you to our guest speakers, Queens District Attorney Melinda Katz and NYPD Highway Unit 3, C.O. Captain Wang. Congratulations to our Cop of the Month award recipients, Sgt. Shishir & Officer Lin, for their heroic actions in saving a woman attempting to jump from a building. A special thanks to NYS Senator John Liu for sponsoring the awards.

🔹 2 vehicles + speakers seized
🔹 1 dirt bike confiscated
🔹 Summonses issued
🔹 1 arrest (forgery & suspended license)

Last night, 109 SOL & Q-Team intercepted a vehicle blastin’ loud music from roof-mounted speakers under the Van Wyck Expy & College Point Blvd. 🎶🚫
The vehicle was confiscated and summonses were issued, putting a swift end to the noise pollution. Our neighborhood is a little quieter today! 🚔🔇

Yesterday, our 109 Q-Team cracked down on reckless moped riders. 🛵💨
Numerous summonses were issued, and illegal, unregistered mopeds were towed and confiscated. We have zero tolerance for behavior that puts our neighbors at risk. Keeping our streets safe is the priority! 👮‍♂️⚖️
