Join us on June 21st for Make Music New York at the Johnny Hartman Plaza, 143rd and Amsterdam Avenue. We have partnered with BroSis to activate the plaza with music and dance for Make Music New York, an annual city wide event. We are thrilled, King Solomon Hicks will be the headliner.

Harlem-born guitarist, vocalist, and composer King Solomon Hicks is one of today’s most exciting voices in contemporary blues and jazz. A musical prodigy who began performing professionally at age 13 as lead guitarist with the legendary Cotton Club All-Star Band, Hicks has built an international reputation for his electrifying stage presence and genre-blending sound rooted in blues, jazz, gospel, funk, R&B, and classic rock. His acclaimed debut album *Harlem* earned national recognition and a Blues Music Award for Best Emerging Artist Album. Having shared stages with artists including Tony Bennett, Jeff Beck, and Buddy Guy, King Solomon Hicks continues to carry Harlem’s rich musical legacy to audiences around the world.

Join us to talk to our neighbors in NY-13 about Darializa Avila Chevalier's platform of keeping people in their homes, defending our neighbors from ICE, and investing in babies, not bombs.

In the wealthiest city, in the wealthiest country in the history of the world, working people shouldn't have to struggle for a dignified life. We must divest from the corporations profiteering from wars and exploitation and invest in our communities and our children.

No experience is needed. All of our canvasses will begin with a training, and you’ll always have the option to pair up. Bring a friend (or make a new one)!
