Did you know that 9 out of 10 wish alumni said their wish brought their family closer together? For wish kid Vincent, his trip to Walt Disney World with his grandparents and caretakers was a chance to bond outside of the hospital. It was a trip where Vincent could simply be a kid again!

The Toy Story crew has always been there to remind Vincent that he has friends by his side, and our friends at Disney have been creating magical wishes for kids with critical illnesses since 1980. ✨

Aloha from Oahu! 👋

During her kidney transplant, Mariana felt stuck. “I can’t go in the water right now because of my catheter, which makes me want to be in the water even more,” she shared.

From her hospital bed, she would scroll TikTok, wishing for a beach vacation. Hawaii always stood out for its beautiful coasts and lush green mountains. When she imagined her wish, she pictured a flower in her hair and a lei around her neck. 🌺

That wish became reality on the island of Oahu. Mariana explored snorkeled, and experienced a luau, but what meant the most was how far away she felt from it all. For once, she wasn’t thinking about hospitals or treatments. She was just living in the moment.

CJ’s wish for a backyard playset came just in time for summer! 🛝💫

For kids facing a cancer diagnosis like CJ, core childhood moments are often replaced with hospital visits and rigorous treatment schedules. CJ’s wish is more than just a playground. It’s a retreat.

At 13 years old, CJ is already 6 feet tall. He grew an inch a month between the ages of 6 and 7, so his playset is equipped with sturdy wood, an extra-wide slide, and an 8-foot sandbox! Being the thoughtful older brother he is, CJ also made sure his playground had features he knew his younger brothers would love so they could all play together. 💙

CJ’s wish will continue to give him and his brothers the sanctuary they need, this summer and beyond.

Charity is waiting on her summer wish, and this season, you can make it come true. 💙

When Charity was diagnosed with a heart condition, it hit her family hard. She was pulled out of school, couldn’t see her friends, and had to give up dancing. Charity’s cardiologist referred her to Make-A-Wish, and it was like a spark came back. Her mind was filled with ideas, but her one true wish was clear.

“I’ve always wanted to go on a Disney Cruise! My mom was always talking about wanting to go on a boat other than the Staten Island Ferry. I want to meet all the princesses, look out at the ocean, and eat Mickey Mouse pancakes!” said Charity.
