The Smart Capitalists for American Prosperity came together in January 2014 to urge the President and Congress to raise the minimum wage to $10.10 an hour and index it to inflation. On February 12, 2014, the Smart Capitalists met with senior White House officials to argue that raising the minimum wage is essential to the long-term competitiveness of the American economy.
