SWLI's Director Pat Volland receives CSWE's "Distinguished Recent Contributions in Social Work Education Award".

Ms. Volland is being recognized for her extraordinary vision and leadership in social work education, policy, and research efforts to address the critical shortage of social workers trained to work with older adults, their families, and their communities.

Awards will be presented at the Opening Ceremony and Awards Presentation of the CSWE 2012 Annual Program Meeting on Friday, November 9, 2012.

More than 3,000 social work educators, administrators, practitioners, students, and other key decision makers from across the country and around the world attend APM each year, making it the largest gathering of its kind.
