Rest in power Gloria Steinem ❤️

Yesterday, Gloria Steinem passed away at 92 years old. She was not only a revered leader in gender justice work, but a fierce ally and advocate for the LGBTQ+ rights movement in its earliest days.

This photograph from SAGE's early days shows Gloria Steinem standing proudly at a tabling event. This image is a profound example of what cross-movement solidarity looks like. May her legacy remind us that all of our work is interconnected and can create lasting change.

In recent interviews, Gloria Steinem spoke about how she considered herself lucky to age. At SAGE, we work every day to ensure our futures aren't left just to luck. Our mission is to ensure every LGBTQ+ person can age safely and comfortably, free of fear. We all deserve to look forward to our future. Thank you for helping create a brighter one, Gloria Steinem.
