Our small, dynamic middle school blends rich academics, a sincere devotion to the arts, and service to the community. In our truly diverse school, students work collaboratively and with technology to explore the essential questions of each curricula. We believe that by supporting collaboration between students who are culturally and linguistically diverse, we are preparing our students for success
in an ever-changing world. For over 20 years our school has served the children and families of Manhattan’s Community District 2. In 2010 we moved to our current location in Lower Manhattan and through the move we have maintained the vision of our founding principal: To establish a small, progressive middle school where teachers get to know the personal strengths and interests of their students and strong relationships between them are developed.
