We carry their memory in everything we do. Every march, every rally, every vote cast is a tribute to those who gave their lives for this country. Today we remember. Always we honor.

You already know.

This month we celebrate the moms who raised us loud, loved us louder, and never once thought about knocking.

Send this to a Latino who lived this every single morning and visit us at salsathevote.org.

Every part of who I am has a little bit of you in it. Gracias, mamá. Happy Mother's Day to all the mamas who show up, who sacrifice, and who keep the culture alive.

Happy Cinco de Mayo from our community to yours. On this day in 1862, against all odds, Mexican soldiers defended their homeland at the Battle of Puebla — a reminder that resilience and pride run deep in our roots. Today we honor that legacy.

Every first-generation kid knows this feeling. The weight of everything they gave up so we could have more. The silent sacrifices, the long hours, the dreams they quietly folded into ours.

We didn't get here alone. And we don't show up alone either.

This one is for every papi, mami, tío, abuela who crossed something — an ocean, a border, a language barrier — so we could stand where we stand today.

Your grocery bill didn't go up by accident.

Since February, the Strait of Hormuz — one of the world's most critical shipping routes — has been closed due to the US-Iran conflict. When global supply chains break, everyday costs go up. Gas. Groceries. Rent.

Latino families already spend a higher share of their income on essentials. We feel it first. We always do.

The people making these decisions answer to voters. Checkout salsathevote.org.

Currently, the Supreme Court is hearing what is already said to be a landmark case in which the Trump administration is attempting to end birthright citizenship for children born in the U.S. to undocumented parents. As oral arguments began on April1, 2026, the case remains ongoing as of April 3, 2026.

Be aware of this: If they come for one of us, there is no telling who is next.
