"ILOILO CITY, LEVEL UP" VIDEO CONTEST

Mechanics
1. Open to all residents of Iloilo City. No registration fee is required.
2. Entries must be in Hiligaynon (with English subtitles) or English.
3. Duration of video: maximum three (3) minutes. The video should be in mp4 format.
4. Entry must capture the experience living in the City, promoting tourism spots, culture, food, and products.
5. A participant may only send one (1) video entry.
6. Entry must not feature violence, profanity, religious or cultural intolerance, racism, gender discrimination and/or illegal acts.
7. Entries should be uploaded on google drive and google links should be emailed to [email protected] with the following content:

SHORT DESCRIPTION OF THE VIDEO with hashtags :
8. Deadline for the online submission of entries is on Sept. 7, 2022 (Wednesday) at 5:00 pm, Philippine Standard Time. Any entries submitted after the deadline will be automatically rejected.
9. Participants must LIKE and SHARE the Iloilo City Government and Jerry Treñas official pages.
10. Iloilo City Public Information Office (PIO) will upload the entries through Iloilo City Government page.
11. Announcement of winners will be on Sept. 12, 2022 via the official page of the Iloilo City Government ().
12, Iloilo City PIO will formally notify the winners through their contact information and how to claim their prizes.
13. Participants should agree to be featured in promotional activities for free, and winning entries will be deemed as property of the City Government. The decisions of the judges are final.
14. Videos will be judged on the following criteria:
40% - Content and Adherence to the Theme
30% - Artistic Value and Communication Potential of the Video
20% - Technical Excellence and Quality
10% - Uniqueness and Originality
100% - TOTAL
15. The video must depict any one, combination or all of the following:
• Tourism and destination
• Cultural heritage, people and history
• Customs and tradition
• Food and local products
16. Entry must be the contestant’s original work, taken using mobile phone or camera.
17. Videos must be in high resolution.
18. Video must not contain any copyrighted material including music, other clips, artworks and photos.
19. Entry must not contain date stamps or watermarks.
20. Entry must not have been awarded in any other video contests and/or commercially published whether for news, advertising or otherwise.
21. Contestants must agree and comply with the Contest Rules.
22. The contest organizers have the right to modify all or part of the Contest Rules at any time and for any reason without incurring any liability.
