FDNY Engine 8, Ladder 2, Battalion 8 Mid-Town Hi-Rise. FDNY 8 Engine was first quartered here at 165 E 51 st. September of 1869. 2 Truck original quarters were at 126 E 50 st.

E8 and L2 were brought together in the double bays of the current Hi Rise September 6, 1961.
