📣 📣 📣 The results from the FY26 CDF Impact Survey are in! For the fourth year, Dance/NYC and A.R.T./New York have partnered, with Carrie Blake as our researching partner, to administer a survey to all NYC arts and cultural institutions impacted by FY26 CDF (Cultural Development Fund) Awards. 📣 📣

🔎📊 This year, we had the highest number of responses for this survey to date. 199 responses were collected between January and March 2026, representing 14% of the applicant pool. Our goal for the survey has been to add to our existing dataset that continues to demonstrate the impact of the CDF process and funding on the NYC arts and culture ecosystem.

🎉THANK YOU to all the individuals and organizations who took time to participate in the survey. Your contribution has made a huge impact, as this survey provides a powerful tool as we advocate for more resources and a more equitable distribution of funds for arts and culture.

At A.R.T./New York, a good bit of our work is done remotely. But this past week, our full-time staff gathered together for our annual staff retreat! This time together is always affirming and special — it's a time to pause the work so that we can celebrate wins, share challenges, address organizational ghosts, and dare to dream even bigger... for something that we deeply love — the theatre!

🎭 Cheers to our incredible staff and another year of doing what we love! 🎭

📣 🎭 Up next at A.R.T./New York Theatres in June!!!

💫 Fear & Wonder | June 8 - 27 | Presented by Flux Theatre Ensemble
Forced to share a room at a conservative Christian summer camp, picture-perfect Ryan and cynical rebel Jabez expect nothing but a week of forced prayers. Instead, their late-night debates spark a magnetic, dangerous attraction that threatens everything they know. When the real world crashes in, will the fear of losing it all tear them apart, or will they risk everything to make something wonderful?

♥️ Rent | June 10 - 21 | Presented by EPIC Players
EPIC is over the moon to bring Rent to life—a rock musical that reimagines Puccini’s La Bohème for New York’s East Village in the late ’80s and early ’90s. Just as Puccini told the story of struggling artists in 19th-century Paris facing tuberculosis, Rent follows a new generation battling HIV/AIDS, poverty, and the search for love and belonging.

🌴 All We A One: The Braata Singers in Concert 2026 | Jun 26 - 28 | Presented by Braata Productions
A concert experience paying tribute to Caribbean storytelling through music, movement, and tradition. All We A One, translated as We Are All One (People), reflects the collective force of the Caribbean people – cultures bound by common roots, connected across Caribbean seas that both connect and separate us.
