Today we celebrated our incredible 8th graders and all they have accomplished during their middle school journey. 🎓✨
We are so proud of each student for their hard work, growth, resilience, and achievements. As you close this chapter and begin a new one in high school, we wish you nothing but success, happiness, and endless opportunities.
While we are excited to see where your future takes you, you will be greatly missed. The memories, friendships, laughter, and impact you’ve made on our school community will not be forgotten.

We are so proud of all the students who were recognized for their hard work, dedication, leadership, and achievements throughout the school year. Your perseverance and commitment to excellence have truly paid off.

Last Friday, our 7th graders led our 1️⃣1️⃣th annual Walkout to End Gun Violence. Students used their voices, talents, and creativity to advocate for peace and safer communities. Through spoken word, art, music, and reflection, our scholars demonstrated the power young people have to inspire change and stand up against violence.

Students were the leaders of every aspect of the event: from the logistics team to the march leaders to the performances to social media takeovers, student ownership carried the day because at Launch we believe ALL students can lead and shine when they put their talents on display 🧡📢🎤

Last week, some of our 8th-grade girls had the opportunity to tour not one but TWO elite all-women’s colleges. Students met with one of our alumni who attends Mount Holyoke and toured Smith College with alum Ms. Haynes! They got to see classrooms, dorms, had a tour from a professor, and much more.

At the end of the day, one student said, “I can see myself going to college now.” At Launch we believe ALL students should envision great things for their futures. Thanks to Ms. Haynes and Ms. Reno for setting up this amazing day!

He talked about life and dreams beyond the court, how he was inspired to become a writer, finding the right people to surround yourself with, and so much more 📚📝
