New York Chapter of the Aging Life Care Association Aging Life Care™ management is a holistic, client-centered approach to caring for older adults.

Aging Life Care Experts are professionals who can assess older adults and develop a care plan that will determine the need for in-home care, relocation and additional medical care. Aging Life Care Experts coordinate a variety of care related services and can be the eyes and ears for family members who live far away. They are also there for those family members who live nearby, but are too busy to handle the daily details of the older person’s life. Aging Life Care Experts provide the answers and the solutions to busy family members who know help is needed but don’t know what to do.

Membership with ALCA connects you to a community of practitioners who are actively shaping the future of Aging Life Care™ (formerly known as geriatric care management). You gain access to industry education, emerging research, and a network of professionals who understand the complexity of this work from the inside. The relationships built within ALCA tend to last well beyond any single event or continuing education course.

Starting October 1, new members who apply with the code NYMGI will pay just 50% of their membership dues. The New York chapter covers the remaining 50%. Combined with ALCA's 15 for 12 deal, your paid dues cover membership through December 31, 2027.

ALCA membership is open to professionals holding degrees in social work, nursing, gerontology, or another human services field who are working with older adults and individuals 18 and older navigating complex medical or behavioral needs. Everyone has a place here, united under a shared Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice that define the gold standard in Aging Life Care™.

If that describes the work you do, this initiative was built with you in mind.

Starting October 1, new members who apply with the code NYMGI will pay just 50% of their membership dues. The New York chapter covers the remaining 50%. Combined with ALCA's 15 for 12 deal, your paid dues cover membership through December 31, 2027. The application takes time to prepare. Start gathering your materials now.

Are you a credentialed professional working in Aging Life Care™? The New York chapter's membership growth initiative is continuing, and October 1 brings an offer you won't want to miss.

Here is how the offer works. ALCA's 15 for 12 deal means that when you join, your membership covers 15 months for the price of 12 with paid dues covering you through December 31, 2027. On top of that, when you include the code NYMGI on your submitted application, you will pay just 50% of your membership dues. The New York chapter covers the remaining 50% on your behalf. That means you get more than a year of membership at half the cost.
