Meet Collector Project, one of four leading Thai fashion brands taking the stage at One Night in Bangkok, NYFW 2026.
Founded by Thai designer Ek Thongprasert, Collector Project is a Bangkok-based fashion brand driven by curiosity, storytelling, and a desire to challenge established ideas of beauty, value, and perception.
A graduate of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp, Ek first gained international recognition through his acclaimed jewelry work, known for transforming unexpected materials into objects of desire. His distinctive design language led to a special collaboration with Comme des Garçons and placements at influential fashion retailers around the world.
With Collector Project, Ek brings this same spirit of inquiry into contemporary menswear. Rather than following seasonal trends, the brand functions as a personal archive—a living collection of fabrics, objects, images, craft techniques, cultural memories, and visual fragments gathered through travel, flea markets, local communities, and forgotten sources.
Vintage workwear, military garments, folk costumes, old photographs, handcrafted textiles, and found objects are reimagined into clothing that feels both familiar and unexpected—carrying traces of the past while creating new ways of seeing.
