The Three Bridges Democratic Club and District Leader is proud to endorse **Judge Shahabuddeen Ally, Judge Kathleen Waterman-Marshall, Judge Hasa Kingo, Judge Christopher Chin, and Judge Betty Lugo-Martinez** for New York State Supreme Court. There are only 3 seats and these terms are for 14 years, so it was extremely important for us to vet each candidate.

Following our endorsement process, we were impressed by the breadth of experience, commitment to fairness, and dedication to public service represented by these five candidates. Each brings a distinct perspective to the bench, from public defense and community leadership to family, civil, criminal, labor, and trial law and a demonstrated understanding of the responsibility judges have to ensure that our courts remain accessible to every New Yorker.

Our club believes our judiciary should reflect the diversity of the communities it serves while maintaining the highest standards of integrity, independence, compassion, and equal justice under the law.

We are proud to support these five judges and encourage our judicial delegates to support their nominations for New York State Supreme Court.

We are proud to endorse Grauven Olivares for New York State Committee Woman!

Grauven is a devoted mother, passionate community leader, and tireless advocate for equitable opportunities in our city. From her work as President of Community Education Council 1 to serving on Manhattan Community Board 3, she shows up for families, fights for quality education, and builds coalitions that strengthen our neighborhoods.

Born in the Dominican Republic and raised here since childhood, her lived experience brings heart, humility, and real perspective to every decision.

State Committee is an unpaid Democratic Party position that allows for transparency, accountability, strengthening of the Democratic Party and real co-governance, things that Grauven has been managing in her current roles.
