Friends, on Friday, February 5th, from 8-11:00 PM, the Mid-Manhattan NAACP will host a 47th Annual NAACP Image Awards Watch Party. It will take place at the New Harlem Besame Restaurant, located at 2070 Adam Clayton Powell, Jr. Boulevard @ 124th Street. There will be Red Carpet Complimentary Wine & Appetizers served from 8-9:00 PM, and a viewing from 9-11:00 PM. There will be a cash bar & menu items for purchase all evening. Cost: $25.00. Friends, on Saturday, November 2nd, from 12-4:00 PM, the Mid-Manhatan Branch of the NAACP is holding a Back to School/Stay in School rally, to take place at the Minisink Townhouse, located at 646 Malcolm X (Lenox) Boulevard @ 142nd Street, in Harlem. Free school supplies, including school bags, will be provided for students. There will also be health demonstrations and entertainment. All are welcome. See the flyer here...
