FoodFight runs teacher education workshops to build a community of teachers who are passionate about food politics and committed to encouraging the students to think in new ways about the food they eat and the products they buy. In the spring of 2012, we launched the nation's first Teacher Wellness Initiative in five New York City high schools. Teachers participated in a one or two-day workshop fo

cused on media literacy, food politics, nutrition and healthy habits. In 2013, through a partnership with the Whole Kids Foundation, we are launching our Teacher Wellness program nationally!
