We're on the lookout for a Speechwriting Intern for the September to December 2025 term (3 consecutive months, no exceptions) at the Permanent Mission of Israel to the United Nations in New York City.
We’re seeking a responsible, dedicated, and professional student or graduate (BA/MA) with strong writing skills and a deep understanding of international affairs, diplomacy, and Israel’s global positioning.
Here are some important points to note:
📌This internship is unpaid. (Please note: There is also no coverage for travel or living expenses.)
📌It requires in-person attendance at our NYC office.
📌All candidates, once approved, will need to undergo security clearance.
The ideal candidate is:
- A native English speaker with exceptional writing skills (especially in speechwriting or persuasive writing).
- Familiar with global political issues, international relations, and/or the UN system.
- Able to meet tight deadlines, communicate effectively, and maintain strict confidentiality.
This is a full-time position, excluding public and Jewish holidays.
