Yesterday, New York State Senator Erik Bottcher, and Assemblymember Tony Simone and I got to see the updates Vanderbilt University - New York City has made at their campus in Chelsea. Very exciting to see the progress here! This will be a great space come the Fall.

We have learned of 3 Archdiocese buildings that are being put up for saleā€¦ this raises serious concern about the preservation of sensitive sites in our community

We are holding a rally at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church at 229 W 14th St (between 7th & 8th Aves) to call on Archdiocese to find different buildings to sell, and for the Landmark Preservation Committee to designate these buildings as landmarks.

Meet Shashank! He is one of our incredible Community Affairs Managers. Shashank liaises for Community Board 4, which represents all of Hellā€™s Kitchen, Midtown and some of Chelsea. Our office was all around the district yesterday evening for National Night Out Against Crime! It was great for our staff to connect with the community and strengthen our partnerships with local precincts.
