🚨⛴️🇺🇸 “Connor Bordelon”🇺🇸⛴️🚨The U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) has chartered the commercial offshore supply ship Connor Bordelon to serve as a floating logistics hub under a new pilot program called the Homeland Security Cutter-Ocean (HSC-Ocean) initiative.Awarded to Louisiana-based Bordelon Marine, the contract introduces a new logistics model where a commercially operated vessel delivers fuel, provisions, equipment, and fresh personnel directly to Coast Guard cutters while they are underway at sea.

A Coast Guard Air Station Humboldt Bay MH-65E Dolphin helicopter aircrew rescue (medevac) a cruise ship passenger (51-year-old woman) from the Carnival Luminosa 45 nautical miles offshore Humboldt Bay, July 16, 2026.

Sector Humboldt Bay Watchstanders received a medevac request for a passenger experiencing symptoms of a stroke.

The woman was reportedly in stable condition and brought safely to Mendocino Coast Hospital in Fort Bragg, California.

Safeguarding our region’s security and economic stability:
Joint training during exercise is sharpening multinational maritime capabilities to protect crucial global trade routes, especially the Panama Canal, and ensure freedom of navigation. Working together, we remain committed to the security of the people in the Western Hemisphere.

Multinational defense and security forces are training together during the Panamanian-hosted PANAMAX exercise. Held in Panama and the U.S., the exercise is strengthening the collective capability of regional forces to safeguard the Panama Canal and maintain security and stability in the Western Hemisphere.

What you see here in completely normal and should be there. The strong winds and turbulence caused rapidly changing aerodynamic loads on the aircraft. The C-17’s wings, engines, and tail surfaces are intentionally designed to flex and vibrate within safe limits, allowing them to absorb these forces instead of transferring all the stress to the airframe.
