Founded in 2007, Single Stop harnesses America's most effective anti-poverty tools to create economic mobility for low-income families and individuals. By utilizing technology to create maximum impact at over 100 sites across 9 states,

Single Stop has connected 1 million households with nearly $3 billion in resources and support. We partner with local organizations and institutions that serve low-income families to provide wraparound services and ensure their clients leverage all the major anti-poverty resources available. Our “one-stop-shop” model connects clients to a safety net worth $1 trillion provided by over 1 million organizations—connecting people to the resources they need to attain higher education, obtain good jobs, and achieve financial self-sufficiency. Our commitment to assist low income families in one place at one time, has also been highly regarded by other leaders in the field. Many college students arrive on campus already navigating housing insecurity, food access, and financial strain. Without the right support, too many don't make it to graduation.

Community College of Philadelphia is working to change that. As the only open-admission public college in Philadelphia, CCP serves 20k+ students a year. Through their partnership with Single Stop, they're making sure those students can access the resources they need to stay enrolled and succeed.

The impact is measurable: students who received direct support through Single Stop persisted at an 85% rate, compared to 72% for those who did not. As Single Stop becomes even more integrated with CCP’s support ecosystem, the college is poised to help even more students achieve stability, well-being, and academic success.

Single Stop connects users with the tax benefits and tools needed to navigate filing their taxes with ease.

In partnership with Navy Federal Credit Union, more than 15 million members can now access available tax benefits through Single Stop’s screening and support services – along with direct assistance and personalized guidance to help them take the next steps in their financial planning.

Directing the fifth largest VITA tax program in the country, Single Stop also provides in-person tax preparation at multiple VITA sites across New York City. Nationwide, individuals can access guidance and resources through our website to find trusted tax support local to their community.

Today, more than half of college students in the U.S. face basic needs insecurity, leaving schools like Southern New Hampshire University as they work to support students and sustain enrollment.

In her recent blog, Ana Minter, Single Stop’s Director of Customer Success shared how connecting students at SNHU to basic needs support can make a measurable difference: students who received assistance were 15.5% more likely to stay enrolled than those who did not.

We’re excited to share Single Stop’s 2025 Annual Report.

This year, our tools and services helped more than 100,000 people access nearly $1 billion in eligible benefits. That’s about $24,000 more per family, on average, for essentials like food, health care and education.

Our benefit screener and resource map is now available in all 50 states and Washington, D.C., making it easier than ever for families to find and apply for support. As we’ve grown nationwide, we’ve also strengthened partnerships that help us reach communities where access matters most.

In 2026, we’ll keep building. We’re focused on improving how families discover, apply for, and receive benefits that support economic mobility and opportunity.
