This Monday, we had a tee-riffic start to the week at the 6th Annual Golf Classic! 🏌🏽

With your generosity, we raised vital funds to support over 19,000 New Yorkers with high-quality childcare, afterschool STEAM activities, daily hot meals for seniors, and so much more.

Congratulations to Grand Street's former board president and longtime board member Sylvia Montero for being included in City and State NY's 2026 Latino Trailblazer power list!

Philanthropist and retired executive Sylvia Montero spent decades excelling at Pfizer, eventually becoming the company's highest-ranking Latina staffer in 2005, as Senior Vice President of Human Resources. In honor of her parents who emigrated from Puerto Rico, Sylvia founded a scholarship fund in their name at her alma mater, Barnard College. We are privileged to have Sylvia and her breadth of knowledge and experience as a longtime board member at Grand Street.

Sylvia, thank you for inspiring New Yorkers with your leadership and compassion across business and philanthropy.
