TODAY, our NYC public pools officially open!

​If you’re looking to beat the heat this summer, the city’s outdoor pools are finally open for the season, from 11 AM to 7 PM (with a short closure from 3 PM to 4 PM for a daily deep clean).

​Please remember that a sturdy combination padlock for lockers is required to store bags and phones, which are not allowed on the deck.

​While I want all of our families to have the best time making memories this summer, I want to make sure our kids are completely safe doing it. That’s why I fought so hard to pass the "Every Child a Swimmer" Law. Starting this upcoming school year, my bill ensures that every single family gets crucial water safety education and local swim-lesson resources right when they enroll their children in school.

​We can significantly reduce drowning risks when our babies have the tools and confidence they need in the water.

As the 2025–2026 school year comes to a close, we want to say a massive congratulations to the New York graduating class of 2026! 🎓

​We also want to extend our deepest gratitude to the incredible teachers, faculty, and parents whose unwavering support, dedication, and love helped make this school year a resounding success.

​Our team was honored to attend several graduation ceremonies throughout the district, presenting exceptional graduates with Certificates of Merit from K-12 for Academic Achievement and Community Service—encouraging them to keep learning, stay curious, and always aim higher.
