THE OATH ESTABLISHED.
Black August is more than remembrance—it is a call to action.
Join us in West Atlanta as we honor three individuals whose work helped establish a people through history, institution building, and spiritual consciousness.
🔹 Dr. Willis Nathaniel Huggins — Established Historical Consciousness
Teaching generations their true history and defending Ethiopia before the world.
🔹 Dorothy Hadley Bayen — Established Institutional Structure
Helping transform support for Ethiopia into a lasting institution through the Ethiopian World Federation.
🔹 Vaughn Benjamin (Akae Beka) — Established Spiritual Consciousness
Using music and scripture to remind us that the oath is renewed every generation through truth, discipline, and responsibility.

The Oath is not a relic of the past.
It is renewed every time we teach truth, build institutions, awaken the spirit, and invest in our community.
We come to remember.
We stay to build.
We leave to serve.
