On the morning of September 11, 2001 out of this tiny historic firehouse on West 58th Street in the Midtown section of Manhattan 6 Men responded to the world trade center. This company and this small firehouse that today nearly 20 of us are so proud to work in lost 6 men that responded on that morning. Today we come together as a company with the beloved families of the fallen to again honor the men that sacrificed everything for this job and the people of New York City. May we never forget our brothers lost from 23 Engine.
