What an exciting day for our 2nd grade student! He was our first student to collect 5 Bulldog Bucks, which earned him a gold coin to spend in the book vending machine! He had his eye on a special Dog Man book! Congratulations Lane! 📚🐾

The students will also have a guest speaker, author, Damon West will speak to the kids about his book, "The Coffee Bean".

Thank you for spoiling the NWES office staff last Thursday & Friday! We had parents bring us lunch two days and ice cream on Friday. It was a much appreciated treat after getting this school year rolling!

Calling all teachers! Want the coolest class pet in the school?
The Dairy Alliance and Discover Dairy's Adopt-a-cow program pairs classrooms with a calf from a dairy farm in Mississippi. Also included in the free year-long program, are photos of the cow, activity sheets for the students, a PowerPoint full of information and photos, and suggested lessons that follow Common CORE standards and Next Generation Science Standards.
