🍬 Learning Biology Has Never Tasted So Sweet! 🧬✨

​ Amelia Schmid’s Biology class is at it again, and this time they are trading their petri dishes for candy dishes! Students wrapped up their unit on cellular biology by creating highly creative (and delicious) 3D cell models.

​Using everything from gummy worms and Nerds to taffy and fruit rings, they perfectly mapped out the complex components of a cell. Talk about a great way to make science stick! Check out some of these incredible student creations:

​Our high school biology students have been getting some hands-on, real-world experience as amateur microbiologists! This week, Amelia's class took a closer look at the invisible world around us by swabbing various surfaces to grow and analyze their very own bacteria and mold samples.
