We’re super blessed to partner with MTA Logistics LLC to help bring more support to our community. If you’d like to drop off items this week at the fire department we can hopefully get this semi filled!

We will be available in the evenings for donation drop off at the station from 5pm-7pm

A 10 Weather Impact Alert is in effect for Tuesday as a cold front brings severe thunderstorms to Ohio. Wind gusts of 60+ mph are the greatest threat, with the highest risk focused near and east of Interstate 71. Hail and a few tornadoes are also possible.

We are doing this to ensure inaccurate/ outdated information isn’t being imported over to our new system. We highly encourage you to update your information if possible as it has not been updated since our current cad was purchased in 2019. NSPD was honored to be able to attend the 38th Annual Candlelight Vigil at the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial in Washington, DC to honor the fallen officers whose names have recently been added to the Memorial.

National Police Week pays special recognition to those law enforcement officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty for the safety and protection of others.

New Straitsville Police Department had the privilege of attending the Light Ohio Blue Caravan this evening. This event honors the fallen law enforcement officers who paid the ultimate sacrifice for their communities.

Chief Maynard proudly represented New Straitsville.

We would like to give a huge shout of the all of the folks that make this event happen and a special thank you to Bill Swank, the founder of this organization.
