WREATHS ACROSS AMERICA -- Daytona Division will once again be taking part in the National Wreaths Across America Day on Saturday, 13 DEC 25.

Wreaths Across America's mission is to Remember, Honor and Teach. This is carried out every December by coordinating wreath-laying ceremonies at Arlington National Cemetery, as well as at more than 1,600 additional locations in all 50 U.S. states, at sea and abroad.

On December 13, 2025 at 12:30 pm, Daytona Division - USNSCC will be helping Edgewater New Smyrna Cemetery to Remember and Honor our veterans by laying Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes.

Please help us honor and remember as many fallen heroes as possible by sponsoring remembrance wreaths, or volunteering on Wreaths Day.

In support of this great cause, our Division has registered as a sponsorship group for the Edgewater-New Smyrna Cemetery. We will be selling wreath sponsorships and the Division will be providing a Color Guard for the opening ceremonies, and participating in the wreath-laying on 13 DEC 25.

Wreath sponsorships cost $17. All wreaths that are sold will be shipped to the Edgewater-New Smyrna Cemetery to be placed on Veteran's gravesites on the day of the event.

Sales can be placed online by going to our Division's Wreaths Across America page.

An Amazing Adventure for the Sea Cadets!

Several Sea Cadets had the incredible opportunity to spend five days aboard the USS New York, sailing with the U.S. Navy and Marines! From an inside look at naval operations to experiencing shipboard culture firsthand, this was an unforgettable experience for all involved.

The cadets received an introduction to the Navy, learning about leadership in action, teamwork, and what it takes to serve on the high seas. They came back with a new sense of pride, and a deeper respect for naval service.

A special shoutout and welcome home to CPO Desmond, PO3 Lewis, and PO3 Altman. Thank you for representing the Daytona Division on this amazing adventure!

Here are a few pictures as they arrived at Port Everglades this morning. ⚓️
